Trustees
Peter & Rachel Marson
Co-founders and Trustees
Peter & Rachel have been married since 1989 and have three children. They are members of The King’s Church Mid-Sussex and see their work with SeeKenya as an important part of their Christian faith.
Peter has a Degree in Optometry and Visual Science, and has worked as an Optometrist since 1989. He became self-employed in 1996, and in 1998 he opened two practices, in Brighton and Hove, where he currently works. Peter has also been working for over ten years in the macular department of Brighton and Hove PCT Eye Hospital, in triaging and aftercare, with local opticians and doctors referring patients to him.
Rachel has worked with disabled children, and children with challenging behaviour, and is a trained midwife.

Jim Partridge
Chair of Trustees
Jim is the Senior Pastor at The King’s Church Mid-Sussex. He has been part of the SeeKenya story from the start, visiting Kenya numerous times helping to form relationships with churches and key partners as well as chairing the SeeKenya Board of Trustees.

Paul Wright
Trustee
Paul is a retired Chartered Accountant having worked as an accountant and Finance Director for over 30 years. He now volunteers as the accountant for The King’s Church Mid-Sussex and oversees the finances for SeeKenya. Paul has been a Trustee of SeeKenya since it was formed and is a regular member of the volunteer teams that visit Kenya twice a year.

Maria Sigston
Trustee
Maria is a self-employed Optometrist who lives and works in Edinburgh. She has an additional qualification as an Independent Prescriber and specialises in the treatment of anterior eye disease. She has been on every clinic trip since her first one in 2014 and became a trustee of SeeKenya in 2018.

Mark Garrett
Trustee
Mark is a Chartered Engineer and is Chief Operating Officer at Ceres Power Limited, a technology licensing company for solid oxide fuel cells. Mark is also the non-executive chairman of Secured By Design Limited and a Council Member at Brunel University. Mark has been a Trustee for SeeKenya since 2018 and has completed several trips with the charity.

Andy Heald
Trustee
Andy is a Chartered Fundraiser and charity marketing specialist who's helped many organisations build support to make their visions reality. He loves inspiring people to be generous with their resources to make the world a better place - because he believes everyone should experience life in all its fullness. Having served in the SeeKenya clinic, Andy wants our reach to grow, and see good eye health improve more lives in Kenya.

Charlie Olive
Administrator
harlie has worked in the charity sector in an administrative and financial capacity since 2008 for both local and national charities. Her part time role involves overseeing the day to day running of the charity including finances and fundraising as well as trip preperation.

Bishop Edward & Fridah Buria
Founders of Edfri International NGO
Bishop Edward Buria is the founder and Senior Pastor of Kambakia Christian Centre in Meru, Kenya and Edfri International NGO. Edward, supported by his wife Fridah, has planted many churches in Kenya and other countries in Africa and provides apostolic oversight for the Newfrontiers churches in the region. Through Edfri International, SeeKenya run eye care clinics from Isiome Hope Centre in Meru.
